We would like to apologize that we have not posted for a while as we are having the time of our lives. This post will briefly be covering our time at Masada. The day started off with a real early wake up. 3 AM was the time we got up and it sucked. If you know Adam Tarshish, then you know that it takes a lot more then just a nudge for him to awake. We thought we had to pull out the ol bag of tricks. But to our surprise, Adam woke up fine and was pretty alert. After a "great" breakfast, we started our journey up the infamous Masada. The hike up Masada, to our surprise, was not that grueling, however we did envy those who took the cable car up the mountain. Once we made it up the mountain we got to witness one of the most amazing sunrises we have ever seen. During a part of class we were instructed to go stand on this ledge and repeat some hebrew words our teacher said, and it would echo. Even though our teacher said "after we say the last word you are not allowed to yell anything else", Adam thought it would be funny to get a group of guys, and yell the word penis. Of course it was loud and echoed but our teacher didn't find it to funny, but all he did was tell us not to yell anything more. After the gruling 4 hour on Masada we are delighted to run into our fellow Herzl friends on USY. In a nutshel climbing Masada was a great expierence and all three of us loved it.
